(Harrisburg, PA)—Ronald W. Dufalla, Ph.D., principal of Brentwood High School in the Brentwood Borough School District, and outgoing president of the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals (PAESSP), was honored by his peers and guests at the twelfth annual state principals’ conference in Pittsburgh. Dr. Dufalla was presented with a plaque and a ring for his exemplary service to the association during 2003-2004 at the annual banquet held at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel on Monday evening, October 25, 2004.
Dr. Dufalla served as the first president of the newly-consolidated PAESSP. In October 2003, the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary School Principals (PAESP) and the Pennsylvania Association of Secondary School Principals (PASSP) merged to form the PAESSP. He currently serves the association as immediate past president.

(Harrisburg, PA)—The Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals (PAESSP) is pleased to announce that David Vodila, a PAESSP member and principal of Red Lion Area High School, has been elected as the 2004-2005 President-Elect of the 33,000-member National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), Reston, Va.
Vodila was elected by a group of his peers during the NASSP National Convention & Exposition, February 27 – March 1, 2004, in Orlando, Fla. He will take over as President of the national association in 2005-2006. As NASSP president-elect, Vodila will lead an organization committed to providing a “national voice” on issues of the principalship to the halls of Congress, the White House and the news media.
