Governor Tom Corbett is slated to present his 2012-13 state budget proposal before a joint meeting of the Senate and House of Representatives on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. Following the governor’s budget address, the Senate and House Appropriations Committees will convene hearings on specific components of the proposal. Senate budget hearings will be held: February 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 (PSERS), 27 (Education), 28 and 29. The House budget hearings will be held: February 21, 22, 23 (PSERS), 24, 27, 28, 29 and March 1, 5 (Education), 6, 7 and 8. Check our web site, Facebook and Twitter for budget updates.
