Spring Legal Roundup -- March 17 - April 29

   As agents of the state, school officials must operate within the parameters of state and federal laws and regulations. Keeping abreast of changes in the law is a never-ending challenge for school leaders. This course will review the most recent court cases, laws and regulations using PSBA's always popular "20 Questions" format.  Here's a sneak peek at some of the topics we will be using to test you.

1.   Who's on First?  Extra-curricular participation.
2.   IDEA reauthorization update
3.   Admission of expelled or almost expelled students to your         
      district.
4.   Grievances, implied just cause, and employee discipline.
5.   Current issues in student discipline, policy, and off campus
|      conduct.
6.   Free speech and religion in school.
7.   The Pledge of Allegiance.
8.   Other hot topics as they emerge.

One of the following PSBA staff plus one local solicitor will be at each location: Stuart L. Knade, Esq., chief counsel; Emily J. Leader, Esq., deputy chief counsel; Sean A. Fields, Esq., associate counsel.

Members $60 per person per course.
Non-members $150 per person per course.

***CLE credits (attorneys only) $3.00 extra charge and circle name(s) above CLE registrants.

Refund of registration fee will be made only if cancellation is received at PSBA headquarters at least 72 hours in advance of meeting time.
Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to the event may be transferred to substitute participants for the same seminar.
