Lincoln Community Service Project Applications Available

By James Sabatini, Community Service Board Advisor

PASSP and Lincoln Investment Planning, Inc. have again joined forces to promote community service learning in middle and senior high schools across the commonwealth. The project is designed to provide financial assistance to schools and to recognize the leadership of the school-building administrator, who is the foundation for ensuring that all students receive quality educational opportunities in all aspects of learning.

For 2003-2004, the PASSP-Lincoln Community Service Project will recognize five schools and their respective principals with $500 awards. The application must be completed and returned to me no later than April 11, 2003. Awards will be presented at the annual state conference in October.
