Lehigh University’s College of Education to Sponsor Seminar 

Lehigh University’s College of Education will be sponsoring “Is There Life Beyond Ritalin? School-Based Assessment and Intervention Strategies” on Saturday, March 16, 2002, in the Perella Auditorium of Rauch Business Center. The center is located on Lehigh University’s Asa Packer Campus. This presentation will focus on empirically-supported approaches to school-based assessment and intervention strategies designed to improve the schooling outcomes with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

His workshop will be appropriate for school psychologists, trainers and related educational professionals. The first half of the presentation will emphasize assessment strategies and tools useful for making a range of educational decisions pertinent to the issue of ADHD, e.g. functional behavior assessment. The second half of the presentation will focus on school and classroom-based intervention strategies to support the learning and development of students with ADHD.
