Senate Bill 1572 has been introduced through your associations’ effort and the help of Senator James Rhoades.

Use your 1999-2000 members Legislative Directory for the information necessary to call, write, email and fax your senator requesting their bipartisan support of Senate Bill 1572.

In the House, Representative Jess Stairs is considering offering an amendment to HB 1401 that would be a companion to Senate Bill 1572. Using the discussion points found here - and that you have received via snail mail and fax - contact your representative and request their bipartisan support of a similar effort in the House and ask them to join Representative Stairs’ effort.

Please don’t call our office to inquire about how you would calculate the enhanced annuity credit that is being proposed in the legislation. Use your time to contact your legislators. If we are successful in gaining passage of the legislation, all the information necessary to do your own calculations will be provided to you in the future.
