PASSP - Lincoln Community Service Project

PASSP and Lincoln Investment Planning, Inc. are involved in a three-year Community Service Project that provides grants to schools to establish or enhance Community Service Projects in middle or senior high schools.

The project is designed not only to provide financial assistance to schools but also to recognize the leadership of the school building administrator, who is the foundation for ensuring that all students receive quality educational opportunities in all aspects of learning.

The PASSP-Lincoln Community Service Project follows this time frame for 2001:

·         Seeking applications for the Community Service Project - February-April 15

·         Deadline for receiving applications - April 15

·         Review of applications and site visits - May-June

·         Committee recommends winners to PASSP Executive Board - July

·         Winners presented awards and recognition - October Annual State Conference

Robert O. Roberts, PASSP regional representative and superintendent of Lake Lehman School District, chairs the PASSP-Lincoln Community Service Project. For more information about the project, contact him at (570) 675-2165. For a nomination form, contact the PAESSP office at (717) 732-4999.
