The Vote is Unanimous - Consolidation for PAESP and PASSP!

On Thursday, December 12, 2002, after 2 1/2 years of study and planning and a unanimous vote, the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary School Principals (PAESP) and the Pennsylvania Association of Secondary School Principals (PASSP), have agreed to merge into one body -- The Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals (PAESSP). This is effective July 1, 2003.

All principals in Pennsylvania will now be represented by the PAESSP. Over the next year, the executive boards will be completing the transformation to become one organization. This will be evident in the elections to be held this year for both Executive Boards.

Now elementary, middle level and secondary principals statewide will have ONE VOICE working for them in the Harrisburg legislative arena and across the Commonwealth.
